Room was great! Everything was modern, clean, and comfortable. Staff was great! Five stars to the front desk, housekeeping, and the valets. Location was great! Plenty to do and even more restaurants within walking distance. Probably stay away from the park just to the south.
I stay in a hotel 14 days every 6 weeks. I have stayed at Canopy by Hilton a few times. I would like to thank Jennifer, for the upgrade to a corner room with a balcony. This room is by far the best room I have stay in anywhere. Thank you for making my work week feel more like home. I recommend this location for any occasion. Craig Wilson
Amazing Stay...our room was outstanding. Atmosphere was great! The staff was absolutely wonderful. Would recommend Canopy by Hilton in Grand Rapids to EVERYONE!
We chose the Canopy by Hilton for a weekend stay in Grand Rapids. The location is great. The service, the valet parking covered our expectations. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and towels were clean and soft. The only thing that I had a problem with was the size of the shower, kind of on the small side. Maybe because it was ADA compliant and it had the folding seat and all of the grab bars, but it was tight for me. I am not a small guy, 6'2"/230lb , but it felt tight.
We stayed here for a one night event in GR. When we first checked in the valet greeted us and made it easy. The front desk was present and really made us feel welcome. Our room was nice and provided a great background of grand rapids. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Due to our complimentary credit on the account, we went to the restuarant for breakfast and enjoyed our meal and service. Overall, we will definitely come back here when we stay in Grand rapids.
Great location, clean, friendly staff. Rated with a 4 because the bed was a bit too soft for my liking and the shower temperature controls were a bit confusing. Otherwise a great hotel and I would stay here again.
Loved and enjoyed our stay, great hotel downtown and super walkable! The only downside we had was that the mini fridge is NOT a fridge but a cooling drawer that you have to put ice in. So all our food went bad. The doors are heavy on the rooms and do not soft close, they slam loud and woke me up a few times during our stay. Not a huge deal but definitely not great if you are a light sleeper.
I was in room 514, but TV not working. They happily moved me to another room, but made me pack up and come back downstairs for a key. As a Diamond, would have been cool if they brought up the new key since the room was next door. Not that I have to feel special, but would be a nice touch.
